  3. TextWin 2.15

  5. There is a new release of TextWin, the "drop-in-and-forget"
  6. windowing extension of Ka9q (Ka9q is sometimes known as net.exe
  7. or NOS).
  8.  
  9. This is version 2.15 (tw 940324).  Users of the pre-release of
  10. TextWin 2.15 should NOT bother to download this version unless
  11. they are very tight on memory.
  12.  
  13. /pub/ibmpc/textwin  now contains:
  14.  
  15.         -readme.1st:  A short file describing other files
  16.                         in greater detail.
  17.  
  18.         tw215doc.zip: User manual, including installation directions.
  19.                         Historical information.
  20.                         Example configuration file (textwin.cfg).
  21.  
  22.         tw215_1.zip:  Tiny TextWin executable, a version of TextWin
  23.                         with some esoteric Ka9q features removed,
  24.                         to save memory.  Recommended for first-time
  25.                         users.

  27. /pub/ibmpc/textwin/bigger.alternatives  contains:

  29.         tw215_2.zip:  Small TextWin executable, a version of TextWin
  30.                         exactly corresponding to small ka9q net.exe.

  32.         tw215_3.zip:  Big TextWin executable, a version of TextWin
  33.                         with everything but the kitchen sink.

  37.         tw215src.zip: Source files different from or additional to
  38.                         ka9q 2.15 source.  Now includes <gasp> almost 4k
